Tianjing to Beijing

Arrived about 3pm at Beijing Airport on Sunday, 21/9, the airport is so complicated. You need to take a short tram in order to the baggage collection area. From there we took a nearly 3hrs car ride to reach our hotel, Hotel Renaissance, its supposedly a 5 star hotel, but its kind of lousy. The food served at the cafe are not very good and expensive. The room was kind of musky and eerie, why I don't know, but it just creeps me out.

We had a whole day business review on Monday, and we were suppose to go to the cafe for buffet lunch but the place was fully booked by someone else and our organiser was not informed, end up we went t0 the chinese restaurant in the hotel, the food was good, better than the cafe I believe. For dinner, we went to a restaurant famous for 'Boiling Fish', the dishes there are mostly spicy and its very very nice. The Boiling Fish is a dish that they boil in a oil, so when its served, its serve in a 'basin' of fish slices swimming in oil and spices.

Today, we went to visit a Plant in Xi Qing and then we took a 3hrs bus ride to Beijing. The hotel room is incredibly nice =) big spacious and homely and big TV.

After checking in we went Great Wall of China. Its very magnificent. I only climbed halfway and some others made it to the top. Took quite alot of pictures. We went to a very magnificent restaurant for dinner. The concept is like palace and the waiters and waitresses are dressed in Qing Dynasty palace servants dressing. The food is also very nice. Tried a chinese liquor 53% alcohol content, its very nice, very fragant.

Other than the first hotel and first dinner at Tianjing, everything was great (^.^)
