Belly Dance Lesson 1

It was Belly Dance Lesson 1 yesterday, we learnt hip circle, figure of 8, hip lift, hip drop and snake arms.

Hip circle is not very hard, but figure of 8 has some 'difficulties' nid to twist, right hip out, slide diagonally to left, then twist, left hip out and repeat again..

The snake arm I made look super funny, suppose to be one long snake became 2 retarded broken snakes...haha..

At the end of the Lesson, our instructor showed us some shawl (i forgot what it is called, but Sharon is calling it butt scarf) to tie to the hips , with 'metal coins' on it and it will sound when we doing hips movement, and see if we are interested to buy. So we were like shopping, testing out the different colors, I got myself a dark blue and Ping will be paying for me first as I will be away next week. Thanks Ping.

After Lesson, the usual Tuesday activity, UNION. Not much people there yesterday, good time for Rueda, but nobody organises the practice so only JK, Tommy, Rachel and me were there. The usual Union regulars. I realised that I have been going to Union alone more and more often..haha..I also don't know why..There are alot of people are being nice to me (^.^) *so touched*
Tinah offered to have dinner with me if I am coming alone to Union and no one else to dine with.
JK keeps dances alot with me cos he see I standing around very often.
Rachel keep looking for people to dance with me afraid that I have no one elses to dance with.
Anyway, I finally plucked up my courage to ask a guy to dance with me, and I was dancing quite badly..haha..so throw face..not cannot follow but rather keep losing my beat. I wasn't dancing very well yesterday *so sad* some dances were alright some were really bad. But I still had fun.
Initially wanted to leave early to catch last train, but ended up dragging the time as I was getting the SISF ticket and chalet, and I missed my last train. The last train left when I stepped into the station, so end up I went outside International Plaza to take a bus. It took about the same time as the train but somehow the time just feel longer, but at least I saved about $30 by taking a bus and that is all that counts =)
