Class Gathering BBQ

Had a BBQ class gathering at Wee Siang place on Saturday. Its been afew month since we had our last gathering, which is at Mother's Day. though not all turn up but still we got over 10 people there, and I am the rose among the torns, though I know there are people who will defer, saying I'm the torn among the roses.
Other than the normal Pork Chop, Steak, Sotong Ball, Crabsticks and Suasages, we have Bacon and Duck meat. Why Duck, cause the guys that when to shop for the food are saying, 'chicken is such a cliche, we should try something else'. Initially they wanted to buy crocodile meat also, but its abit too expensive so they drop the idea. The funniest part about the duck is, it taste and feels like pig liver, it even looks like it, cooked or raw.
After we had all fill, we sat down and talk. Actually, Kiat doing most of the talking. They were telling funny storys that happen in their camp, all those army stuff. Though sometime I will blur, but its still very entertaining lah.
Most of them have changed, not in terms of looks, but they gave off a more mature feeling (though they are still acting as they were in Poly).

The Weekend

My weekend's activities started on Friday night. After Tinah's competition ended, we went to Le Noir first then when it closes we switch to Attica. That was my 2nd time being there. Nice place enjoyed it a lot. Because talking over the loud music and my cough, my voice was super hoarse the next day. Luckily no sore throat. After clubbing, we went from Clark Quay to MS for Bak Kut Teh. The soup is very good, not like those very msg + pepper tasting soup.
Reached home about 6 then have to crawl out of bed at 10 to go JB with Khim.
I actually sms her at about 7+am ‘If I want to cancel the trip to JB will you kill me’.
Even though she says ‘no’ but, I think she will be disappointed as she seems to be very looking forward to the trip and furthermore, I could not think of another Saturday soon that we can go over. So the trip is still on.
Heading to the custom is an easy job, but when queuing at the Malaysia custom is a killer. Our initial queue won’t move. Haha. We each picked one line to queue see whose side is faster then the other one can move over, but out queue don’t move. It was until I realized that the line beside me move very fast then we changed. We spent about 45min queuing and it has diminished half of my enthusiasm.
We went Time Square first for lunch; the Penang Prawn Noodle is very nice. Very 有味道. That shopping mall is a lot like Singapore’s probably is because its near the custom. After that we took a taxi to Holiday Plaza. Which is a bit like Far East Plaza. Every shop is selling the same design of clothes, at about the same price. Actually one of our purpose of going there is to trim our hair, so we went around, choosing the salon, make an appointment then went shopping. The wait is quite long actually, about 2hrs, during which we spent 1.5hrs shopping and half hr sitting in the salon. My prices of the trip are a denim skirt (wanted to buy shorts initially), 2 pairs of earring, 2 tube(you will never see me wear alone) and a neater hair. Haha.
The coming back is very fast actually, no queue at all. I am so happy; it makes me more motivated to come if anyone asks again.
Reached Singapore 7+, and then head to Royston’s place for steamboat. Gotten a call from Jack at 4+pm saying that Royston having a steamboat at his place asking if I want to go, its been some time since I have seen them so went down. Stayed there til 12+am then gone home. I surprised myself by going online after I reached home instead of going into concussion.
Sunday, the day I love and hate. It’s a weekend but it also means its Monday is in a few hours time. Slacked at home the whole day. Rushan came over to my place and we watched anime whole day. It is the 2nd time she came over my place I think.
Though it was very tiring, but u had a fun weekend and I enjoyed it very much. And now, after so much fun its Monday again…sadz…

House of Bunny

Went to watch House of Bunny with Rushan yesterday @ The Cathay. Initially when Rushan ask me if I want to watch the movie I was having an image of a house with bunnys running around, those G-rated movie, but after watching the trailer, I think it was quite interesting and so agreed to watch. Even though I had watched the trailer, I still do not know what to expect from the show.
Before the movie we meet up and went to source for out dinner, after half an hr of scouting, we decide to eat Shilin Chrispy Chicken and Crepes. We also bought some pop corns, due to the 'weird' favours. She bought Popcorns with Sour Creams and Chives, while I got myself Popcorn with Cheddar Cheese. The Cheddar Cheese Popcorn is quite disappointing actually.
The movie is funny, but do not expect any great plot from there. The plot is very simple but still entertaining. But it is not a show meant for guys, unless they are there to watch the actresses and their skimpy dresses.
